Job Search Strategies-Need to find a job? With this service, people are given resources, tools, and guidance on how to find a job. A step-by-step plan is developed to help individuals put the necessary steps in action to land a job! Resume/Cover letter Assistance-Do I write a scanable, chronicle, functional, or combination resume? Do I include a cover letter? How do I write a cover letter? These questions and others are answered during this service. Come learn when and where to use which resumes, and how to write cover letters to get interviews. Interview Preparation and Follow-up- Do I need a career portfolio? What do I wear? Is a thank you card necessary? Preparing for an interview, and knowing what to do afterwards can be a nerve-racking experience. However at VKing Pathways, you will be given the skills and a process to follow to help keep you calm and confident before, during, and after interviews. Career Counseling thru Life’s Transitions-Recently laid off? Personal life changes require you to get back into the workforce?
